About Us
Kathy
Rorer DPT was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. She graduated from the
University of Kentucky in December of 1984 with a Bachelor of Health Science
degree in Physical Therapy. She completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in
December of 2008. Kathy married Ronnie Rorer in 1985 and they have been
blessed with 2 beautiful children, Josh and Madelyn. Ronnie and Kathy are
actively involved in several ministries in their church. Kathy is passionate
about helping women with health issues, addictions and other life controlling
problems. Throughout her 23-year career she has worked in multiple
settings, however outpatient physical therapy has provided the most
challenging and rewarding experiences and is the niche where she has gained
the most experience.
Kathy began as an employee at Rehab Associates Physical Therapy in 1987 and
later became a partner. She has attended multiple seminars on spinal
dysfunction, neck and back care. Certifications in this arena include advanced
Functional Capacity Evaluation, Prework Screening and Functional Job Analysis.
Orthopedics and Sports Medicine have been an integral part of her practice and
she continues to enjoy treating this population as well as staying abreast of
the latest treatment approaches and research available.

Other educational endeavors include teaching Anatomy and Kinesiology in the Physical Therapist Assistant program during the first year of the Paducah program.
Kathy has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1984 and has held several positions at both the district and state levels. What we offer:
